Project Title: Plastic in the Sea and How it Affects You and Me
A large percentage of the oxygen we breathe comes from plants in the ocean. But as we know the ocean is very polluted and that is negatively affecting our main source of oxygen. For this project we want to create a simulation that would show us how much pollution the ocean has received in the past 10 years and run the simulation to predict how much pollution there would be in the ocean after 20 more years of the pollution increasing taking into consideration population growth and urbanization that takes place as we modernize. We want to see how this would negatively impact our main oxygen source in the future. By doing this we can understand the danger of mass pollution in the ocean and work towards protecting and keeping the ocean clean by educating others and giving this topic the awareness it needs.
