Area of Science: Environmental Science
Proposal: The problem is due to Covid-19, all students attending Mescalero Apache School, will have their temperature taken daily. Along with the entryway temperature check stations, monitors will be set up in the classrooms for temperature measurement throughout the day. In the fact that illness has no time of day to become infectious, these temperature stations will help school staff monitor any changes in the health of their students.
Plan of Action:
• Build housing cases for the sensor Arduino with 3D technology
• Create the C++ code for the sensor to communicate to an android
• Collect data on temperature check at each station
• Compile all data in a report form
