Proposal: 1.) The problem we are addressing is how police react with minorities based on their own biases and how their stress levels affect how they handle a situation.
2.) This prompt is important to us because we want to get a better understanding of what affects a police officers impulses during a situation, and the two things that would help us get a better standing are how biases and stress interacts with them.
3.) We plan on finding multiple local sources to gather information, and from there we need to analyze how each officer felt in the situation with a POC. That’ll help us comprehend any biases they may have or had along with how their stress level affected their reaction. Which helps us have a greater understanding of why they reacted how they reacted.
