Proposal: Visual impairment is not just an individual problem; it also involves the lives of those that care about those affected. There are different categories of blind people being able to see the shadows, colors, or nothing at all. They should not be excluded from doing day to day tasks. Moving from the living to the bathroom should not be a dangerous activity for anyone so we will work on a way to help this growing problem. A device will be developed that would detect a chair, curb and or step to avoid a calamity. Development of a software, and hardware device that can detect or sense obstructions that may cause normal living to be hazardous to someone with these issues will be a great way to help those in need.
