Proposal: We will use variables to measure the gravitational pulls, velocities, and positions of the objects in the galaxies. We will measure these variables throughout and make observations about the data about how gravity can affect the positions of objects.
We will use both graphs and animation to visualize the results. The data will also be available on a table.
At this point, our idea is theoretical, although a similar simulation could match two real world galaxies and simulate their collision.
We will only simulate stars, black holes, and larger objects. We will document (journal) our progress every tuesday, and explain what we have worked one.
