As part of our school's robotics program, we compete in many different STEM challenges. In one of these challenges, Botaball, we have to separate certain colored objects from each other. While this function may seem simple to compute, there are a lot of components to it that need to be factored in. Our team hopes to complete the code that is needed in order to figure out this component of the challenge, as well as, possibly, improve the current technology in this field. Although we have only speculated about using this project with our other challenge(s) so far, we see this system being applicable in many other situations. By completing this, Women in STEM 310, hopes to better their own knowledge of code, as well as improve current technology in order to help the world through innovation.
