Gama Radiation

How many gamma-ray bursts are occurring in the Universe each day? On average, approximately one gamma-ray burst is detected every day. Although this is only from this " jet " that collects data only from this small portion of the whole universe. How can we figure out how many of these bursts are actually happening all around the universe? I will be making a computer mode of the Universal, and then extrapolate an answer from my results.
