Expo and Awards Ceremony Schedule

Here is the (tentative) schedule of events for April 2023:

Friday, March 31
  Register to attend the Expo

Wednesday, April 5
  Final reports due


Tuesday, April 11
  Nominations for the Best teacher sponsor sent to Consult

Monday, April 17

  Submissions for the Logo contest due

Wednesday, April 19
  Judges conference call - about half a dozen finalists will be determined.

Friday, April 21
  4:00-7:00 Scholarship interviews with Scholarship judges via Zoom

Sunday, April 23
  Teams travelling more than 120 miles check in at the hotel
  Relax on your own in the evening


Monday, April 24
  7:00  Breakfast at the hotel
  8:00  The previously announced finalists will give 25 minute
          presentations to Finalist judges between 8:00 and 12:30
          at Los Alamos National Laboratory 
        Everyone else will give set up their posters and give their
          presentations to Expo judges at pre-assigned half-an-hour
          time slots between 8:00 and 11:50 in the Study Center at
          the Los Alamos National Laboratory 
        After their presentations, teams will be able to take tours
 11:30 Lunch
  1:00 Expo judges caucus
  1:30 Expo judges announce additional finalists
  1:30-4:00 Expo finalists make 25 minute presentations to Finalist judges
  1:00-5:00 Tours 
            Students and teachers vote for best project, technical poster,
            and logo during lunch or the tours.
  5:00-7:00  Dinner at the Bradbury Science Museum 
  

Tuesday, April 25
 7:30  Breakfast at the hotel
 8:30  Travel to Awards Ceremony
 9:00-11:15  Awards Ceremony at the Los Alamos church of Christ auditorium, 2323 Diamond Drive, Los Alamos 
12:00  Lunch Reception and media interviews
 1:00  Depart
