Proposal: We want to look at the problem of so many people being left homeless after the problems that everyone faced with CoVID. There are so many people and families that have been unhomed here in Albuquerque. We think a solution to this problem would be to use all the land around the area that is empty and not being used for anything to build small, secure shelters for people, any people, to use at night to stay warm and safe. We think we need the shelters to have no qualifications because no one should be sleeping on the street no matter what. But we still have to make sure they are safe in case families or kids need to sleep there but also criminals or drug addicts need to sleep there. We want to think about how to make a shelter that can be locked and unlocked by the user only not someone outside, but is simple enough kids could still use it, or people who are high or drunk could still use it safely. We are not sure how to do this yet....
