Forecasting Earthquakes

Proposal: In order to successfully predict how an earthquake will damage a surrounding area, certain variables must be accounted for. Things such as the strength, type of fault and magnitude of an earthquake will be factored into this project. I will expand on what I did last year, and add more variables. By the time I have my interim report, I will have already incorporated one of these factors into the model. The finishing project should have at least 2 more variables that can be adjusted to fit certain circumstances. I will try to make this a valid earthquake model, showing how an earthquakes affects the surrounding area, how the houses are damage, what withstands the damage, and how different types of earthquake have different effects.
